this passage has always been so encouraging to me. it's one that i have to remind myself of daily. with all the responsibilities that come with being a mother, wife and woman i can easily become overwhelmed. not to mention the crazy things going on with family, friends and tragedies all around the world. if i allow these things to control my thoughts i will quickly find myself in a place of worry, fret and fear. i know this is not the place god desires me to live in. the bible asks the question in matthew 6:27 "can all your worries add a single moment to your life?" absolutely not! it doesn't matter how intensely i worry it won't change one thing about the situation, but it will give me a good stomach ache! ; )
my heart is that you would be encouraged by this scripture today and if you are facing a situation that is causing you to worry or stress out make the decision this very moment to give it fully to the lord!
