in my opinion these are the top 3 overlooked "makeup musts". let's talk about why real quick ok?
1. blush: putting a little blush on the apples of your cheeks will help you look youthful, healthy, vibrant, and most importantly not dead. i'm serious! sometimes when i don't have blush on i look dangerously sick. like i just got
over the flu and i don't think thats a super attractive look. blush can also give you great looking cheekbones and help contour your face. here is a great blush tutorial if you have no clue where to start!

2. eyelash curler: this is a must have tool in your makeup arsenal. i know some people are afraid to
use them because they think it causes your eyelashes to fall out but i don't believe it! i've been
using them for years and my eyelashes rarely fall out. using a curler will help open your
eye causing it to appear larger and will set up the perfect canvas for your mascara.
3. eyebrows: hello! this is one of the most important parts of my makeup routine. i will leave the
house without eyeshadow, blush, and mascara but i won't go out without my eyebrows done.
why? a full, rich brow completely frames your face and can take years off of your look.
i'm so for real right now! want to shave a few years off? then fill in those brows baby!
again these are just my opinion so any makeup "musts" that you can think of?

i really need an eyelash curler! i've NEVER used one! crazy, huh?! getting one asap!
I hardly ever use my eyelash curler but I love it when I do! I just need to take the time I guess, and I totally agree about the blush, I am a blush addict!
I agree with all three of these--especially the eyelash curler and well shaped eyebrows!
I second these and add mascara to the list especially for the blonde eye-lashed girls like me!

i love my eyelash curler!
if i'm running late it's the only thing i do before i rush out the door!
I agree! Especially about blush. I've had a few forgetful/rushed mornings where I forgot to put blush on... and when I realized it, I felt naked. I now carry a small blush compact in my purse.
I totally agree with you! I'm all about blush and eyebrows. :)

Totally checking out the eyebrow tips. My brows are thin.
You're the best!

i have such a hard time keeping an eyelash curler around that always works!

i love the video on eyebrows!!
I seriously couldn't live without blush and my eyebrow pencil! Never used an eyelash curler though, but I'm going to buy one now.
eyebrows, eyebrows, eyebrows!! totally agree. another makeup must - lipgloss!!
I have only used an eye lash curler once, and it hurt so I've never touched it again! ha ha The thing I always do is put a little Olay lotion on my face as well as some mascara and eye shadow. It just feels fresh, and like I am still ready for the day even if I am staying in.
I love that you put in bold "In my opinion" lol. You would die if you saw my eyebrows right now. I keep making appointments to have them waxed, but then have to cancel for whatever reason. I am seriously growing a unibrow. (spell?) You makeup always looks incredible and I am jealous for it! xoxo
I am terrified of eylash curlers--my firend was curling her eyelashes in a car and it braked suddenley and she pulled all her eyelashes out on one eye! How horrible is that and then she had to wait for them to grow back. And ever since I have never curled my eyelashes, even when I am not in a car. But I am a big wimp so...
I always do the first 2 but I never do my eyebrows. I need to start changing that.
Totally agree with all 3, other than throwing up on tinted moisturizer and mascara those are the only things I do when I head to work in the morning! Easy but effective!
I'm great about the blush or bronzer and pretty good about the eyelash curler but TERRIBLE about the eyesbrows....seriously so bad that i just let them grow all the way in and then the lady at the mail salon id begging to wax them:) LOL but that's me for ya
I kid you not I have put an eyelash curler in my baskey at target so many times and the more I walk around with it the more frightened I get so I put it back. It's like a scary weapon and I feel like it will pinch my lids off. I need to get over it.
Blush is the thing I have recently found I needed. I don't see it until I see myself in pictures with and without it...oh my gosh it makes such a difference. Great tips!
i love my eyelash curler. if you heat it up with your blowdryer a little bit, it works 10 times better, and the curl lasts longer. makes sense since we curl our hair with hot curling irons! and totally safe, and it doesnt hurt. also, blush is my favorite! have you tried the maybelline bouncy blushes? super creamy and pigmented. there's also a smashbox blush that adjusts to your perfect skintone!
I totally agree with ALL of these. I only started using blush and filling in my eyebrows last year and I can't believe the huge difference it makes!!
yes, yes, and yes!
eye brows are definitely a must in my book. they are such statements. and i lost my eye lash curler. don't know where it went!! :(

I have never EVER done my eyebrows beyond having them waxed. And I really need to because they are multi-colored (and not in a good way :P ) but I have just never thought about it. Thanks for the tip!
(The other two I do, so I don't feel like a complete make-up failure -- HA!)
i never miss blush!! if i wear any makeup, it's blush ;)
I don't think I could live without my eyelash curler and you're so right about how your eyebrows really frame your face. I love a little bit of bronzer to freshen myself up, too!
AMEN to the eyebrows!! In my opinion, nothing matters as much as having those brows done! :) Great tips!
(found your blog through C.Lee today and I'm so glad I did! I actually found you before, but then somehow lost the link so I'm glad to be back! haha :)

These three things seem so simple to do, yet they are the three things I always seem to neglect. I think you finally sold me :) Tomorrow- putting on blush, buying an eyelash curler, and taking care of these things I call eyebrows.
